We celebrated my first Christmas on 12/27/09. We were going to celebrate on Tuesday, 12/29/09 when my big brother Jacob was supposed to come, but he got sick and wasn't able to make it. So, Mom and Dad decided to let me open my gifts early. Nana and Papa Heintz got me a realy sweet Buffalo Bills jogging suit and a nice camo short outfit for this summer. I also got an ABC talking book and an aligator that rolls across the floor when you press on his back. His teeth open and close as he rolls too. It is my Mom's favorite. I needed some help in opening the gifts I received, but I am confident that by my birthday, I will have it figured out. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I sure did! Talk to you soon-James.

My first big snow!
It is December 8, 2009 and these are photos were taken about 1:30 PM. It is supposed to snow through tomorrow morning and later tonight the winds are supposed to pick up and the temperatures drop making for blizzard conditions. This is the first big snow event I have seen. I wasn't too fond of being outside in this. I am staying inside with Mom and Dad!

The First Thanksgiving
No, it is not 1621, and we are not pilgrims, but it is my first thanksgiving. It was a time when Mom, Dad and I sat down and gave thanks to God for His provision throughout the year, just like the pilgrims did in 1621. This is one of the religious holidays declared by Congress to be Federal Holidays.
As you can see from the table, God provided generously as He always does. I could only eat sweet potatoes for my first thanksgiving dinner as you see in the picture but next year I am going to get after the whole meal.
And that tree you see in the background, that is for the celebration of the other religious Federal Holiday, Christmas. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus was God's gift to man.
Didn't mom do a great job decorating the tree and with the meal?
See you next time!

High Chair
Well, today starts a new chapter in my life. I am getting ready to eat cereal on a consistent basis. Due to my mom being pregnant, she will need help supplementing my food supply and that is where the cereal comes in. Day one went very good. I hope it wasn't beginners luck. I am kind of tired now, I think I am going to take a nap. Don't I look like a king on my throne in this picture?

I am going to be a big brother!
We just got the news this Friday, 11/20/2009, that I am going to be a big brother. I hardly have had time to be a little brother, and now I am going to be a big brother. Some of our friends that have had siblings close together say that they become best friends due to being born so close together. I will tell you more, when I know more.
Here are some recent pictures of me at 4.5 months. I have two teeth, but they are just barely breaking the skin. When you can see them better, I will get a picture posted.
Love,
James
